About this Event

BCIS is one of the largest construction data providers in the built environment.
Within this data are location factors that have supported UK industry professionals to develop early-stage cost benchmarking for years. As organizations increasingly work at a global level, how do they operate if targeting different regions? What do they use? How do they make informed investment decisions?
BCIS is broadcasting a free webinar for professionals working on projects in North America. We’ll bring together a panel of local industry experts to discuss how they are currently working, where they get their insights from, and what tools they have. We will consider the use of international location factors and International Cost Management Standards (ICMS) — in particular, how they can help in decision-making, when providing early-stage cost advice, and benchmarking when developing preliminary and elemental cost plans.
Agenda:
- Presentation on location factors
- Professional insights from our regional panellists
- Discussion among panellists on personal experience and methods
