CFMA NEW YORK CITY CHAPTER 

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 

 

Scholarship Program: Each year the NYC Chapter of the CFMA awards up to three, $1,000 scholarships to eligible high school or college students.

 

Application deadline:  TBD

 

Eligibility:

Child or grandchild of an active CFMA member in good standing of the NYC Chapter

 (active participant with the chapter and up to date on dues)

Applicant must be a high school senior or current college student  

The scholarship can be for any accredited college or university

Any Major or course of study will be considered

 

Application package must include the following:

Name of the CFMA member submitting the candidate

Name of parent/guardian of recipient

300-word Essay from applicant including, but not limited to:

·       Details about him/herself including area of study and why he/she should be the recipient of this award 

·       Name, home address, phone number and email address

·       High School Seniors: Acceptance letter from an accredited college or university that they will be attending along with his/her high school transcript 

·       Current college students:  Most recent college transcripts

·       Employment history and current job description, if applicable

(Note: Incomplete application packages will be disqualified)

Applications will be reviewed anonymously by the Scholarship Committee of the NYC Chapter of CFMA.
